Drove 12 hours out east to dig my first 1700’s copper! (1774) I was able to door knock a few other homes to allow my non knockers to also score some old coopers! Pics of a few beauties along with my first trime!! Glad to know I have a permanent home out east I can visit and hunt whenever I want!! Blessed for sure

Some real nice finds. Yea Tom, LCs are allover around here but not that Trime Mike found.

Congrats.

Thanks buddy..I was on a 1700’s home I got permission on and had a small area to work. I dug every repeatable and it was a solid 12-30 on my 3030 at about 5 inches ..it’s so dang small I almost tossed it in my trash pocket

Some truly amazing digs Mike. Congrats on taking advantage of a great opportunity. Love the history of your digging and putting some coins in your coffers that we don't see here in Wisconsin, specially the 1700 big Copper along with that beautiful bucketlister Trime. Trapper

Now you killed it.

Thanks waltr..dig a few pieces then the bells started to roll in!! Absolutely love them and they all have the ball intact

Trapper it was amazing and hunting parks won’t ever be the same! I door knocked all week allowing myself and the other guys who don’t score some amazing coppers! We dig 4 in all and a Connecticut cooper to highlight part of the hunt. And that trime ...I don’t think I’ll ever do that again it was soo small and I’m a apple orchard in front of a 1700’s home. I plan on making this a yearly trip so save up!!

I will start saving immediately. Had a couple great outings this last week myself. Checkout the thread in Coinshooters. Looking forward to getting out again with you but now trapping season opens this weekend. Oh and my trip out to North Dakota did not do anything like your trip east. Trapper

Congrats Mike. Truly impressive finds that we don't see in WI. I am surprised you didn't find any Indians. Guys out east are always posting them.
