Well a bunch of guys being boys outside yesterday playing flag football turned quickly into a search for a missing ring. I got a text from a friend they needed a metal detector so I headed over right away. When I arrived there were about a dozen people walking around in the grass with their head down looking for the ring. I looked for almost two hours walking slow straight lines covering every inch of the area they played. Finally as it was getting dark and my battery on the etrac showed one notch left I got a surface signal. Pinpointed it with the sunray probe but still didn’t see it until i put my hand down in the grass and felt it. The pictures explain the rest.

Congrats. Good save. "Sure you were playing flag football with your friends. Where is your ring?" I wouldn't go home before finding it either.
