Got permission for a older house today only got to search the front yard for 30 or 45 minutes and found a few wheats and some copper cents but about the 3rd hit I got was a 81 on the at pro I was thinking wheat but was surprised to see a 1900 IH I rechecked the hole an got a 79 lincoln in the plug.

Just about right on top of each other too same side of the hole and just about the same depth maybe a half inch difference

I soak mine in olive oil for an hour or so and scrape it with a toothpick and toothbrush.

This one is my best IH. The patina is absolutely beautiful.
