Coworker gave me permission to detect her place, so I headed out there today. Small yard, but in a pretty old town on main street.

I was able to find a 1943 mercury dime, 3 wheats and a general motors token before the 96 degree temp made me call it a day. Silver # 7 for the ace250. I just bought a minelab x-terra 705 though . I should get it Friday.

The token says "product of general motors" on one side and "Pontiac, chief of the sixes" on the other. This was an advertising token given out by GM in I think 1953. Thanks for looking!

Thanks everyone!! I clean all of my silver, that's not worth more than melt, with baking soda. Anyways, I think you can see it in the pic, but the merc has a couple black spots that will not come off. Any idea what it could be?

I didn't know what it was at first, seeing the Indian, but it's definitely a cool find. I am glad there was a lot of info on the web about it too.
