Went detecting yesterday and found my first silver, a 1939 quarter!! Along with a wheat penny, 2 52. cal cw bullets and a smaller bullet(think its a 38. cal). Also found an old cast toy gun, foot and a half long!. Thanks for all the advice. Think im finally learning my detector. Some of the random 1960's pennies were in an old plastic coin purse that I dug up. I almost crapped my pants when I fould a coin purse with money in it! Will post photos when I can figure out how to do it, been tryin all day!
