This is why you should always dig shallow signals around mole hills and bases of trees at old farm houses.

Big, old trees always seem to produce for me. Next to the walkways it's one of the first places I go.

Same here. The front yards have always produced for me next to sidewalks. Usually for shallow signals about 90% of the time the ctx will give me a ferrus # of 13 if it's silver, but this signal didn't. Just goes to show that when your at an old home site, old coins can be at any depth ...
 
Do you go back through and fill in your holes at the end of your hunts?

Not judging....but it looked like you could easily see three holes when you were getting ready to pick up your Indian. Maybe it was the low light....

Those were actually mole hills. The yard is covered with them. I should have mentioned them in the video ..
