Hey gang, I hunted a few times this week, at a couple legit hammered parks. The one was from the 1940's, and the other from the 1890s. The 1890s park is one of the most hunted parks in my region. Mostly all common Rosies, Mercs, and Buffalo nickels, etc. Except I did dig a nice deep Barber dime at the pounded 1890s park. My buddy and I are going to start checking out some new sites soon, whether this hot weather cooperates or not. Jeez, a little over a week till the first of October, and we are still pushing 90, while the average high for this time of year here is the late 60's. Wow!!! Stay cool out there folks, and HH Everyone! :)

Another awesome post from History Finder! Shocker. Congrats yet again on some great public ground digging!

What ? An east coast post that doesn't include colonial coppers, LC's, and Busts ?? We're bored.

Just kidding! Nice layout of park silver. Love eaking out silver from park turf :)

Congrats HistoryFinder89 on the weekend hunt! The Silver Dimes are so cool and the Buffalos are really neat, too. :detector:

Congrats on that sweet hunt/finds!!!!

Super envious of a park giving up all that good stuff. I'm lucky to get 5 coins and one of them being a quarter.... It's a trade off since I have beaches that give up plenty during the tourist seasons.....

Ha ha ha !!!! Here In wisconsin we have learned to disc out those annoying big old colonials and other copper
.
In the future as our government prints more and more money these coins will give folks something to hunt . Copper may like be 100 dollars an oz some day.
We must all do our part to presearve the finds for the hunters that come after us. I personally have been doing my part leaving the gold where it lays . And pull tabs maybe worth ten bucks each someday ...but I can bot help myself from grabbing a few beaver tails along the way ... I know it's a little selfish sory 😐

It will be all that's left when History finder is done working over the neighborhood . 😎
You are a in fire HF 👍
Great post ,
Dew
