... I'm hoping!

Rang like a pop top. Three inches deep. Stamped "10K" and "NDI" on the inside, but looks too corroded to be pure white gold. The ring did have one of those "safetys" on it so the ring wouldn't fall off (obviously it didn't work), but it crumbled off when I cleaned it.

Those diamond chips sparkle like the ones in my wedding band... I will bring it to a jeweler friend this week and have her use the tester on it!

UPDATE:The diamonds are REAL! :D And when they tested real, I was told that diamonds are not put in plated rings, so the ring is most likely solid white gold! I borrowed Better Half's polishing cloth, and sure enough... IT'S SOLID 10K WHITE GOLD! I never thought something so corroded would be solid gold! (Last photo is after some polishing.)

Have you tried washing it off yet? Looks like it MIGHT be real. Still a cool find. I keep all my fake rings. :) I throw out all the gold and silver ones.

Nice work, pretty ring, bet ya will be checking those pull tab signals a little closer from now on huh?

Wow! ColoKid
