Hello Folks
I was able to get out today for a little bit before I had chores to do. First target of the day was only a couple seconds into the hunt and ended up being a two cent piece.
I wandered around the field for a while and got another decent signal. Unfortunately there is a lot of decent signals but they are almost always bottle tops or deep aluminum cans. I decided to dig this one though and ended up with a nice Spanish silver perhaps 1781. I honestly haven't looked at it that close yet. Since I'm now busy manning the cash register at our garage sale.
I was using the Equinox Field 2. Although pretty much any detector could have found these coins since they were not that deep.
Happy Hunting Everyone

An LC,Spanish silver and a 2c in how long? You’re gonna wipe it out Gary, gotta slow yer roll!
Location really is everything, the last reale found in Wisconsin(here) was I think,like....never. Maybe one...I dunno. 1850 is about the cutoff, and that is RARE!! Bust coins? I’ve heard of 2 around here in the 10 years I’ve been in it.
You’ve got a streak going, some great stuff coming out!

Awesome finds!! My sister lives in Manhattan, but has an old run down farmhouse in Dutchess County near Millerton. I hunted it a couple years back when I was a real newbie to this hobby. Didn't find any silver, but got a V nickel, some wheaties and a buffalo nickel. Next time I visit up there I'll be taking my nox:yes:

Now that a fine hunt with a couple awesome finds. A big attaboy Gary. You do have some great huntin grounds up there. Good luck. Mark
