Hit the "Giving Field" for about 2 hours today....the snow was wet and heavy and I took a page out of Mudpuppy's book and did the plastic bag wrap.....BRILLIANT! Worked like a charm....could see why he cut the "wings" off the Fisher coil before I wrapped it (and before I switched to the ATPro as things got muddier...)
Not a ton of great finds but I did score this chocolate chip token :D ..can't find much about it due to major chocolate recipes clogging up the google search... if any of you Michiganders can help me out, it's a Battle Creek Company...

Jeremiah found this other "Pointers" thing; wondering if anyone can help out with that too?? Fun digging in the muddy snow...

Note the "two hours".... not the regular 5 or 7.....a couple after the fact at the brewery discussing finds and possible sites

After some research...

After some research, I thought I'd share some history. Pretty damn cool having a 100+ year old token that you pull out of a field; don't care how many times you've done it, it's still cool...… unless you're just a coinshooter :p

I dont care who you are! You cant hunt in the snow without a bagged coil! Even if you cut off the fins, when it comes to snow, you still gotta bag that thing!
