Has anyone come across this style of large Asian coins? I found 2 of them at the beach this morning. They are 37mm(1.5") with reeded edge and weigh 18.2g(0.58 oz.). I saw similar pictures under Taiwan listing but there was no info about the coins. They have a silver ring to them when you drop them on the table. They were probably someone's good luck pieces. Any help would surely be appreciated. Thanks.

They are not coins but more of tokens/medals. They usually commemorate an emperor or dynasty. Probably fairly modern and not silver. Still something I'd rather find at the beach than a Zinc penny.

Interesting, they both have the same back design. Maybe someone can read the writing..
Possibly an Asian casino token or part of a series of collectable coins...???
