Default Well, now they went and did it!

What with the covid virus and the banks being shut down to walk in customers, KT had the past few months been prowling eBay for reasonably priced silver. That rocked along very well but today KT went on eBay to find some decent priced rolls to bid on and, OH NO! They are ALL too high priced!

KT checks the price of spot silver....today at $26+ per ounce!
That is a 5 year high!

Well they say buy cheap and sell high, and since KT is a stacker/hoarder, not a seller, His Majesty is out of the silver market until the banks reopen to customers and He can again start CRHing half dollar rolls!

Glad to get the added value to the hoard, but sad none will be added to it for awhile. KT awaits the new vaccine!

KT, the premium on silver eagles right now puts them up around $37 ea. Not sure on junk silver, but I but probably at least 50%. There will probably be a point in time where no amount of paper dollars will buy an ounce of silver.

What ?????

.....you mean you can't simply go on a hunt and easily pop a dozen silver half dollars out of the ground ?

$41.39 for ASE’s at Apmex in quantities under 20. That’s just under a 50% premium!
BGASC has the best price @ $36.35. But they’re out of stock!

Quotes per Comparesilverpricesdotcom.

Well, you do not know KT's Royal History. KT's knees are ruined for any major MDing efforts, unless His Majesty just decides to carry a folding chair and just sit in one place and MD around the chair! That's why He got into CRHing to begin with.

Upon further thought, this just might be a viable option!

.....sorry about the knees, no offense intended, another idea is if you have kids that like to dig in the dirt, have them do the digging for you

No offense taken! KT just understands His Royal Limitations!

Prince John is 30 years old and definitely not interested in digging in the dirt, unless it is with The Royal Kobota Tractor. Presently there is no prospect of any grand kids, either!

.....maybe if you offer him 25% of all the finds, including the trash

If PJ thought trash was involved, He would have no interest at all!

However, KT is thinking of the possibility of a light weight folding stool, that could be readily carried, so His Majesty could sit rather than kneel to make the finds recovery...will consider that a bit longer! Also needing to get the weather to cool off a bit more too! Who knows.....one might begin to see some Royal MD finds in the Finds section by later this fall! Also, KT has not yet given up on sourcing some additional halves by purchase...who knows how this all may work out. Keeping the Royal Options open!

KT knows certain totyards well enough to know where the majority of coins lay next to certain playground equipment! Since it has been several years since KT hunted these totlots, and knowing that they are renewable resources, is reasonably decent encouragement for KT to get out the Olde Royal Dirt Wand and give it a try! Will not be expecting silver coins, but could hold moderately large volumes of clad!

Hope it works out where you can find the right stool to make detecting possible again !

......as far as those totlots having "moderately large volumes of clad!" .....you can always use that clad to buy more silver !
