I found this item today and wonder if anyone can help id it. It is made of Aluminum I believe and is a little bigger than a half dollar. Is it US Army or ????
It looks like it may have been in a fire at some point.

Looks like a good luck token, possibly WW2.

Looks like a serial number. Starting with a 12 should indicate 1= enlisted rather than drafted, 2= signed up in New York, New Jersey, or Delaware.

Been browsing on Ancestry for a Warner in Army enlistment records in that region. Cant find a match to that serial number. Can you read any more of the first name? I can only make out an E at the end.

As stated, Those are tokens that could be stamped with whatever you wanted. Cool find. I've found a few with names and one with a statement not suitable for mixed company.

I found this one last week.
