After the last lack luster CRH, KT was hoping to have some sparkle for the 4th of July at the Castle! So yesterday while out running errands, He took the Royal Change Pouch and visited the Bank, the repository of KT's many boxed coins. Paid for and received 5 more Royal Boxes and was off in the Chariot at maximum speed to the Castle. Prince John unloaded them for His Majesty and then KT settled in for a sweet afternoon of listening to the Justice Channel and ripping rolls! And He was not disappointed this week:

Box 1 - 1 40% Ken, 3 NIFCs, and 1 Au-plated counterpunched Ken
Box 2 - 2 NIFCs
Box 3 - 5 NIFCs
Box 4 - 1 40% Ken, 7 NIFCs, 1 87 Ken
Box 5 - 1 NIFC, 1 87 Ken

Total for the hunt was: 2 40% Kens (both 1967), 18 NIFCs (tossed them all back as none were dates KT is keeping at this time), and 2 87 D Kens (been weeks since KT came across any 87 Kens).

These are all good looking coins as you will see from the pictures!

Happy 4th of July to ALL! KT is hosting the Royal FireWorks Display this evening for the edification of all who live near the Castle!:laughing:

Nice catch for you, keep at it and you'll beat last years totals!

We ALL live in hope! Only way to beat last year's totals is to keep on CRHing!

KT is headed this morning to town to dump these halves and tomorrow will pick up another 5 boxes! They are delivered every Thursday and KT knows that the bank always keeps an extra 5 boxes on hand....that's how KT got these to hunt early!:laughing:

Disappointment today (Thursday) as the bank did not have a delivery of coins yet this week due to the Holiday...perhaps tomorrow. KT will telephone the branch and check before running the Royal Chariot all the way in town for nothing again. BTW, gas is getting cheap around here....got a fill up at Valero for $1.80.9 today!:laughing:

Nice little score KT, you sure are piling up the NIFC 87's!

The '67 Ken on the right looks like it took a few little punches, even over the date. But, as they say, silver is silver!

KT had to look at that coin to determine that it had been punched lightly with a very sharp object right on the 6 digit! There are a total of 4 of those tiny punch marks on the obverse and nothing messed up on the reverse. Good eye you got there amc rulz! And my new camera takes good enough pics that that type of detail shows up.
