Didn't like the cheapo lead that came with my pointer, bought 3 of these delivered from china for about £10. You can find them on eBay.

Never much saw the need for a leash for my pointer. Seems like just another encumbrance dangling off me.
Put in many, many hours detecting and haven't left one behind yet.

I just put some bright tape on mine so it is easy to find if I forget it someplace.

If you water detect, a leash is a must, IMHO. Thanks for the recommendation, ghound!
