My wife was going through some items of her great grandmother's and found a little coin purse with $2.00 in change. Not dug but found

. I will count it as a "find".

Nice! Great Grandma had a little stash. All '64s? I'm counting three dollars in change, so I'm guessing you just put the Morgan in the photo to tease us?

I would count it too. A little rainy day fund that she probably forgot about. The tarnish may be due to sulfur water she may have had in the house at one time. I know it does a number on the electrical copper wires in the House too.
Also proves that you should always look through boxes before just pitching them.

If you didn't find it with a detector don't try to count it as a find they will give you help . I know I tried it by snow dumping
