Hunting a vacant lot that has had buildings on it that we can verify back to 1890. Anyway I found, this coin/token. I have search quite a bit but am having trouble identify it; any help would be appreciated.

It’s about the size of a penny, and has what appears to be an Asian man in a canoe. The back has “0” and that all.

That boat design looks like a sampan, not a canoe. The name is from chinese and literally means "three planks" with one of them being the flat bottom. Fairly different from a canoe, though I don't think that's at all clear from the embossing here (i.e. not criticizing, just explaining what I know of it).

I don't have much else to add, except that it might help your searching to know that it's probably of chinese or malaysian origin (or meant to evoke such).
