Need Help on This Coin ID

It was deep in an area with a lot of old history. About the size of a US nickel. I'm thinking it's British? I can't make out the date.

Thanks! 1806 is now my oldest dug coin other than a Chinese Cash coin. This site doesn't go back to 1806 (most places in Utah don't :lol:

) wonder if it was part of jewelry or something.
