I posted a while back how I had only dug 2 silver coins last year and how I was quite dissapointed. Well 2021 has proven to be much better. Headed out today with intentions of hunting a one room schoolhouse next to me but as I walked out the door I thought to myself "why not hit the local borough park, it's always good for clad". Forgoing the high traffic areas around the ball fields, paths and benches I hit an area that I thought was less likely to have been detected before, a large drainage ditch and swell area. After digging $3 in clad, 1935 and 57 wheaties, the remains of a Kerr Nobuckle sling, a 1965 dog licence and a few other relics I started to head back to my truck when I got a solid 28-29 on the Nox. Out pops a 1942 Merc. 2 minutes later I pull a 1927 Merc giving me 4 Mercs and 6 silver for 2021.

Having the Equinox for less than a year, and struggling to learn it initially I think I'm finally starting to really understand it.

Steve
