Default Updated: 1st Diamond Stud?

Hit another tot lot this morning for a couple of hours.! Didn't get to finish.! I had to go back and pick up my kid from baseball camp & I had also run out of battery.! Found .87 cents in clad and a possible diamond stud earring.! ! !If its real, its close to 1/2 carat weight by the size.! I am going to have it checked this weekend.! I hope its real!!

Update: Finished the tot lots at this park - 5 hours work over 3 days.! $2.32 in clad, a small broken pice of gold chain from a child's bracelet, and a sliver crucifix were among the good stuff! I haven't checked diamon stud yet.

If it is it would sure go a long way toward paying for your detector.

Here is the two I found last weekend.

Well, if you're going to find 2 at least make sure that they match!

Hey Felix, you can test that "diamond" at home:

Fill your sink up with water and submerge the stud. If the stone "disappers" while underwater, it is fake. If it continues to sparkle, you've got a keeper!

local_coins -- Cool tip! Does the underwater trick work with CZ's, too?
