Default Vintage Sterling Awards Pin

I had another good day around town and found this Award of Excellence Fire pin. I haven't done research yet but I feel it is old. The fire truck looks to be before my time. The ring was a real eye opener until I saw the band was brown and no stamp for silver or gold but it did wake me up. Old Wheaties are always a favorite to me also. Happy Hunting!

Nice finds, bummer on the ring not being real but it would have been a heartbeat raiser for me. The fire truck looks like late twenties but it may have used as a symbol for decades.
