Default 1st recovery... and I wasn't even there

My wife's cousin lost his wedding band. They had spent a few hours looking for it, but to no avail.

So he emails and asks if I was still into metal detecting. ("Uh, YEAH! Duh. )

They live about an hour away so I couldn't just run over, but my wife was going to her parents house nearby, so I sent my backup detector (thanks again, steveg!) and he left work to get the Fisher F2.

Within 5 or 10 minutes, BAM!

He didn't even need to use the Garrett ProPointer I sent along.

Very nice!

Is the ground any easier to dig in Macon now?
