Default Today's digs - 48 Ford

Hit a few parks today - weather getting hot finally. Dug 66 coins, some junk jewelry & an unusual truck.

Here's the 48 Ford F-1 truck. It's unusual as it's well made, in great shape , has the name and year on the bottom - is made by Maisto company. Steve in so az

Nice going Steve. That truck had to be a new drop. All the die csats I find are in pretty rough shape unless just dropped recently.

Just did a quick check of ebay for "Maisto 48 Ford". They appear to be new or recent production. Nice lil truck and a nice haul!

Oh you poor poor baby!!! LOL JK I guess I should be happy that some people are enjoying warm weather and great detecting. Congrats on the haul steve. BTW I'm headed down to southern Utah to fish a tournement at Lake Powell, and would love to do some detecting while I'm there. Have you ever been up this way Steve?

dfxrus - Already gave it to a friend who collects Ford trucks.

Gill - Haven't fished Powell but have been through there a number of times. We used to spend summers at Mount Pleasant, Utah when we were teaching. That surely is God's country !! Steve
