Well its been awhile since i've made a post. Some of you know I was on vacation in Peru from Dec until the middle of March. The weather was perfect almost everyday. Only managed to get out a few times during the vacation but everything is virgin territory there. I have quite a few pics so i'll probably have to divide it up over the new couple days/weeks.

Now for quick history of the coins there... Originally Reales were used and in the later 1800s they switched over to Sol (pl. Soles) 1 Sol is divided into 100 centavos. Due to a high rate of inflation in 1985 the currency was changed to the Inti (pl Intis) at an exchange rate of 1 Inti to 1000 Soles. The Inti also suffered from high inflation and in 1991 it too was replaced by the Nuevo Sol at a rate of 1,000,000 Intis to 1 Nuevo Sol (1,000,000,000 Soles to 1 Nuevo Sol)

Ok enough with the boring history lesson and onto the finds. Nothing really old didnt find any reales but thats ok. I also didn't bother to show the backs of the coins as they're all identical except for a few instances.
