Well I was going to go detect tomorrow and I may still be able to, but I needed to get out on this glorious day. I went to the same street as I did a week or so ago but opposite end. I start the detecting and I'm finding dimes and quarters, and I'm thinking okay I'll take that over the dang pennies any day. Well this lady comes home and I'm in front of her house and she asked if I had found anything interesting. I show her the token and get to talking with her and so I ask if I can do her yard and she says sure. Yeah I'm off the streets, lol. Well at this point I had found 3 wheats, so I get in her yard and I find the rest. A total of 17 wheats, 2 IH's, 1900 and 1907 a V nickle 1899 and that beautiful barber 1904. The square silver and black was a ring and it test for silver. I haven't gone through the wheats yet to get the dates. I also think a found a printing plate, the square thing. 2 keys one is a little different if you look at the tip it is different than most. Going back at some point to finish the back yard, but so far it has been mostly trash. Oh yeah the Roy Rogers badge is kinda cool.....

Nicely done, that’s a heck of a haul. I wish people were that nice to me around here! Haha. Usually they tell me to scram.

Glorious Day

That is the way it's suppose to work. You start doing curb strips and are finding Wheat cents, and a neighbor shows up and you get permission. That's the way it has worked for me countless times. Most people (3 out of 5) give me permission, and are really nice. That key with the different tip looks just like the one that fits in a neighborhood mail box. Roy Rogers was my favorite cowboy when I was a kid. Seventeen wheats, 2IH's, a V nickle, and a Barber Dime makes for one great hunt. Plus the other goodies. There could be more goodies in the back yard. Good job.
HH everyone

Thanks everyone, weather is pretty icky so I can't get back at it till Sunday, so lets hope I find a few more goodies in the backyard.
