I recently opened a new detector shop here in Oregon, and haven't had much time to get out and hunt..... Mainly just Sunday Hunts.
Rewind to December 15 while out digging with my friends Mom, she Got Her Gold.... 1906 S Ten Dollar Eagle! Amazing!!
Fast forward to Last Sunday January 19. We decided to go back and revisit an old hunt. Last time out at this location a first year Barber Dime was dug, and a Seated Dime.
This time the grass was shorter in an area we hadn't been able to hunt before.....The following is the post from Sunday on FB.

One of those Phenomenal Oregon Days!!!
Keep thinking I am going to wake up!
WE KILLED IT TODAY!!
😁

Old Permission Revisited.....

Josh - Three Seated Dimes, 1843, 1861, 1869, and an 1808 holed French Silver Coin.

Josh's Mom (Renee) - 1887 IHP

After coming to terms that it just wasn't my day, and I was going home skunked.....
1889 Seated Dime!
1836 Half Eagle!!!

I GOT MY GOLD!!!

Still just Amazed!!

Almost forgot to add the pictures of her $10 Eagle ~ Amazing!

Holy !!!!, man. Major congrats. We need details! If you were using the Nox, how did it ring up?

Multiple gold coins, from the west coast, come from Oregon. Nice going on the holy grail hole-in-one !

I can’t even imagine digging a gold coin! Congrats on the very early US gold!!

Top of the summit right here!!! Amazing the silver finds are great by themselves; to be overshadowed by the epic GOLD is phenomenal!
