Headed north for my yearly trip only to find out that the place we were staying did not have enough room for 9 days. WTH !! So we had to settle for 4 days, simply not enough time in my book to do all the hunting I had planned. So as soon as we settled in I went out to the lawn that I had secured permission to hunt. That evening I ended up pulling in 4 of my dimes, was quite shocked and relieved that I had got all those...but I had a method which in a way cuts my own throat as I set the Pro at dimes on up. I wasn't there to dig pull tabs or zincolns. Yes I'm sure I must have missed some gold but time was just to short to fool with the junk. I got permission from one of my dearest friends to hunt his property and came out of there with a silver earring,a mercury,2 wheats and the indian head and the head stamp marked ROBIN HOOD No. 12 1903. I really thought I'd leave his house (1880's) with a pocket full of silver, but it was not to be. Hunted another house and got the unusual watch fob and the Becky bracelet. The first picture I found on Etsy a bracelet identical to the one I found right down to the name, weird huh? Back out to the lawn and found one more silver dime. 4 wheats from here and there. and about $12.00 in clad. HH all! Oh yeah the war nickle I had been carrying around and almost spent several times, finally put on my glasses :)
