Alright, so I returned to my favorite beach this morning. It was rainy and windy last night, so I figured the sand levels would be down this morning and I was right. And it was a great hunt. First two targets were modern coins. My third target? A 1908 Edward VII 5 cent piece!!!! I could not believe it! I hunted the hell out of the surrounding area. After making a run to the store for fresh batteries, I continued on for a couple of hours. I was getting tired, hungry and needed to find a restroom, so I began to think about wrapping up the hunt. I had to get home to do some work anyway. Then another signal, and out comes a 1917 George V 5 cent piece!!!!

I'll have a video up shortly showing both finds just after I dug them. You will tell that for the second one I am having a hard time with my words. I was really hoping to find a Victoria 5 cent piece for the trifecta, but it didn't happen.

I'm working on the video now, and will have it posted shortly.

HH!

Congrats on the 5 cent Canadians! I found one last year, 1910, and couldnt believe how small it was. I can see how people could easily lose them.
