The wife and I decided to go up on the mountain and see if any huckleberries(Blueberries) were ripe. I think the frost got them this year we did not see any. While I was up there I decided to snap a few pictures with my phone. There were a lot of out-of-state people from Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania up there enjoying the views. One thing about it the temperature up there is pretty cool most of the time.
The bottom picture with the field in the background is my cousins land. It was there granddad's think a round 6 or 7 hundred acres. It is some rough territory in their as I have hunted it quite often straight up and straight down. They have the original homeplace which is a log house all fixed up still has a wood cookstove in it. There is no electricity within 5 miles of this place talk about roughen it. But we have some great times during hunting season in that old house. Some of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten come off of that old wood cookstove.

Beautiful country there! I was out there several years ago hauling oil field stuff to Jane Lew. Talk about up and down hills, you got that right!

Beautiful scenery there! Bummer there were no blueberries, blueberry pancakes on a sunday morning are hard to beat!

We love them in pancakes also we usually gather around 2 gallon and freeze them. There are probably a few up there if I were to get out And looking around.I have some blueberries around the house and they did not produce this year neither.

Ohw mannnn, that's nice to go hunting even if you find nothing. Even 20 days at one time wouldn't bother me then.
Super surroundings!
