Used the historical aerial site to do some research and found that a local ball park was just a park around 1960 so hit it up this morning .. My grandson plays ball there so I knew where the kids hung out, and that's where the clad was. But the old part of the park is away from the playground and fields and whoa and behold, found my first silver there, 1941D Merc...$2.24 in clad, rusty bolt and random piece of chrome something or other ... Totally hooked now, need more places to hunt ( turned down on my first two door knocks) and my one permission is too technical for me at this juncture.
