Hi,
Last year I was detecting on parkland in my home city of Cardiff S Wales U.K. I found a one cent coin 1941 not a very good find you may say, but to find one in the U.K. is very rare, but what was next to it was a silver two mark piece of Mad King Ludvic of Bavaria 1887 to find them both together was very strange, but it did not take me long to work out how they were lost in this parkland,
during the second world war the park was used as an base for the American army and one of your lads must have brought the two mark piece over from Germany for a keepsake, and sadly he lost it,
if anyone can work out another way how they were found together please reply.
