Got out today although DH couldn't attend as he was on pager working. The Monkeys and I hit 3 separate grade school play yards. Gads...I am SOOOO tired of shredded chunks of aluminum and copper in all the wood chips!

Got a decent haul of clad--no keepers, but still got $2.05. (4 quarters, 6 dimes, 1 nickle and 40, yes 40 pennies! Also found were 3 gamezone tokens, and 4 bits of costume kid jewelry.

Yeah it all goes in the fund to offset the costs of the metal detectors....but at this rate it is going to be a while before we recover all the costs!

Hey Monk, you beat me. I got 1.39 in clad and copper pennies but no keepers either. It was fun though. We gotta dig all we can before it gets to hot and the ground gets to hard and dry to dig. Happy Hunting brother.

Today we hit two new to us parks. Pulled $2.24 total between us in a little over 2hrs , and then my score for the day, was a 1958D silver quarter that I got from a cashier at the grocery store. :cool:
