found down by river were fishing and boat landings are ,i had not got any rings of gold or silver for a while ,so nice find , the ring has a spelling of ales stamped on it

Are you sure it's gold? The pictures are a little off but it looks an awful lot like it's plated... Fantastic to find a ring regardless!

Maybe to many color variations to be 14k. Have a jeweler take a look. Any ring find is a great find....

Nice find!

I've found them looking like that. Take a magnet to it and see if it is drawn to the magnet.

I found this one and wasn't sure until I tested it.

it has the stamp 14 k on it ,it is tarnished ,

i put a magnet to it no a traction to magnet,how did you clean yours

i used tarnX on it ,i hope it just tarnished ,i used a magnet it did not attract
