Hunting a well-hunted park where the old-timers have pulled out all the silver from what I can tell. Fortunately they left behind these three buffs, including a key date 1926-S and a semi-key 1920-S. They also left me a 1919-S greenie and three wheats from the 1940s. I was digging scratchy 12-13s on the Nox that were deep. About half the time they came up iron junk, but every now and then it paid off.

Got a couple of pics in situ:

The oldies and the whole haul minus trash:

I was going to say, you must be using the nox, but then saw you mentioned it in your post. Great hunting! I'll guarantee there's still silver in that site, keep at it!

Good hunting there. You are right about digging a iffy signal, you never know what you might pass over if you don't dig them, congrats

Nice going. Buffaloes are always a good find.

Good times! You know we all think some places are hunted out by experts, etc...But unless someone can overlap their coil tracks and detect every square foot of an area, there always seems to be something left to find.....

Luv the in-situ reveal pix. And good job at keeping those key-date S mints right where they belong : This side of the Mississippi !
