I got out for just a couple of hours yesterday. The wind kind of ruined any fun I was attempting to have, but before I packed it in I found this. When I first saw it at the bottom the hole I was thinking it was a clad half dollar since it is about that size. After a quick cleaning, I found that is is a Cotton States International Exposition medal from Atlanta, Georgia 1895. Some of the gilt is still intact around the sun rays. Any advice on how I should clean this further....or should I leave it as is? Material is bronze. Thanks!

I've been researching a little about cleaning bronze coins today and I thought I would start out with a little boiling and might work towards a Hydrogen Peroxide bath. I've also read about starting with a water and lemon juice mixture and light brushing.
