this roof tile is really old !

Always after odd items, I came across and purchased this very old
from 17th -18th century handcrafted roof tile.
Most possibly from a demolished old house near Frankfurt am Main.
The man who made it,even impressed his own name (KD)on it with the finger!

Your tile is also very special. Someone wanted to write down
a testimony for the future. :wow:

Sütterlin is difficult to read, "...... hört den Schritt der SA..."
This means at the very beginning,before the SS was formed ...early 1930's ?

PS.:
when I saw the letters " K D" I couldn't help it thinking these are exact the
same 2 letters - forename and surname - from a workmate that passed away
last year. Perhaps he sent me a message from the past saying everything is OK for him

this roof tile is really old !
