Ahh, okay. I'll keep a close eye on mine for any rust development. I might also take better care to keep it clean around the base of the handle too. Perhaps a little silicone would seal it and take care of the entire possibility of rust. Thanks for the update!

I was fortunate enough to get one from seriousdetecting.com just a couple weeks ago, i just checked the website and it shows them as out of stock/sold out already.
