Rain started in this morning, as minor sprinkles, but starting around 1 pm rain became increasingly heavier and pretty gusty associated winds. Rain gauge reads a bit over 2 inches. The two outer bands have now joined over central Arkansas...the highest winds and heaviest winds are expected in the Kingdom around 5 this afternoon CST. So far, a lot of power outages in south Arkansas, and some minor flooding, but not yet even a power flicker near the Castle.
Tho standing on ready, KT is beginning to have some optimism that we will have much needed rain, but no significant damage on the Castle grounds. We do have a few dead oak trees on the grounds and when the wind dies out tomorrow afternoon, His Majesty will inspect the premises for any dropped limbs or broken out tops that might be used for firewood!
