Report from the Kingdom.....more updates!

One more observation....Following the instructions, until I was ready to start this generator, I left the petcock turned off. To start, turn petcock on, set choke to full on, then push starter button, it fired off in less than two seconds, then moved choke off, and ran solid for 3 hours for break in period, once it has 6 hours on it, KT will change out the oil. To stop, rather than just hitting the stop button, KT turned the petcock to the off position, after about two minutes the carb ran out of gas and it stopped. After it cools, turn the choke to full on...mainly to keep out the pesky dirt dobbers and other bugs!:lol:

This generator holds a shade over 6 gallons of gas and at 50% load should run for ~ 13 hours. Using 1 oz. / gallon of fuel treatment (Seafoam) so the gas can stay in the tank indefinitely...keeping the tank full should prevent problems reported by some of the tank rusting...that and using fuel treatment should prevent it.

Well.....

KT thought that last post was the final Royal Comment, but.....:laughing:...another one is necessary.

If you are hooking up the generator to run any sensitive household equipment, one best ground that generator to make any gfi protected circuits operable. This generator has 2 gfi protected outlets. KT has a ground rod within 6 feet of where the generator will be running. KT has an extra set of jumper cables so He will connect one end of the black wire to the ground rod using the existing clamp, and will connect the other end of the black wire to the ground wire on the generator, as shown in the directions sheet.

KT has an outdoor grade 50' 10 gauge 3 outlet extension cord that should handle both the chest freezer and the refrigerator. Bright yellow in color so those working within the dungeon should not easily trip over it.:lol:
