Found a 1915 English Penny today at an old home site in a cut hay field. I hit it a touch with my shovel. It must have been sitting on edge be cause my pinpointing was off a bit and the signal was a little shaky. I imagine this was brought home from WWI and lost later. Found near two 40's wheat cents. This may be as close as I get to a large cent.

Worn but I like the way the date survived the wear and tear , Happy for you man .

hole in one

I imagine this was worn as a necklace but folks used to string their coins or sew them into their pockets so they wouldn't lose them. I like to hear the story of this coins travels from England to Northwest TN. This is my third holed coin.
