Okay I found this copper token/coin next to an 1871 buckle and I pulled it out of the ground and took a couple pictures. By the time I made it home the little details it had were gone and the outer shell was flaking off. So I tried to take a tooth pick to it to see if I could uncover anything and it didn’t help. So I pulled my last resort and through it in boiling hydrogen peroxide and now the coin is toast and my curiosity is getting the best of me. The token/coin is a fraction smaller than a penny and about half the width. I can make out a few letters and numbers on it. It appears to be a early 1900’s token/coin or 1819. Everything I have found in the area was pre 1922 (date the house burned down) The picture without the color the coin/token is sitting on a wheat penny. I will post some more size references when I get a chance. If anyone can solve this it would be you guys!

I think it's a Netherlands penny, just not sure the date. Here's a similar coin: s-l300.jpg
Not an exact match, but might get you going in the right direction.

Here's some close ups of the date, can definitely see a 1 & a 9. Looks like 1908 or 1918 to me...
