That does not look like any wagon wheel I have seen pictures of.

Does not even look like early cast iron tractor wheels.

More likely it was part of some type of machinery. What is a guess.
 
So a little back ground....the location is section of the trail of tears in North Georgia that was under water but now now not...thinking maybe. Some type of gold mining part now...but again hoping one of you can help identify?

Not sure of the size of that one but I've seen things that looked like that as part of a water wheel. You can see the teeth on the inside edge. I usually see them at mill sites in the water, usually too big too big to carry out though.
 
No clue...machinery part of some kind? We have a "help ID my finds" forum here. You can post pictures of your finds there and get more results.....possibly.
