My dream is to find a 1792 Half Dime, they were minted a few minutes from my house so there has to be a few locally dropped ones. :D

What can I say. Americans makes mistakes, and they are so rare that they sell for $1,600,000 each. :D

Mine would be a tree shilling as they were made in my state and ofcourse the 1652 and $10k for a good example doesnt hurt none...:D

My dream is to find a 1907 Indian Head double eagle (J-1905, gold). That coin is worth $6 million!! But it has to be in PF-65 condition. If it is not in that condition, you will still get a lot of money for that coin!!

I know nothing about coins, can somebody elaberate why this sold for that much?

Supply and demand, very few made which makes it very rare and every serious coin collector wants to be one of the guys to own one so they will pay whatever it takes to be that guy. It's kind of silly when you think about it, the coins only as valuable as people perceive it to be.
