I went over a lot where an old school once stood fairly meticulously, but, in the same way I ignore the "Check Engine" light on my dash, I didn't think too deeply about my Nox screen looking kinda different. Somehow I had switched it to 5K instead of multi-frequency. I dug a lot of aluminum can bits and no coins, so should I start over? I am guessing the answer is "yes."
I accidentally detected an old school in 5K... do-over?

I maybe wrong but I thought 5k was best for silver.

I watched a YouTube video and the guy was Using multi so you might be ok. Go slow and dig them iffy whisper signals.

I have detected areas. Thought that i had done a good job. Even found one silver quarter. Over a year later i went back. worked the two areas again a couple more times . 14 more silver coins came out of those two areas. So i am never done detecting an area until i have thoroughly gone over it a minimum of two times.
