I am getting back to detecting after a 4 year break. I am wanting to detect some of the galveston area beaches if anyone is from that area and can give me some ground rules as far as places that are ok to detect and places that off limits. Thanks in advance

Hello from Dallas! Wish I was close to the beach! Have not been MD at any Texa sbeach but I did once in Florida and a ranger told me to stay off the dunes ( I got close but did not, it was posted) There might be some funny rules so you need to check.
