Went with a buddy to a corn field. The corn had been harvested, but not tilled. The property used to have a school on it that closed in the 60’s. The farmer said there also was a log cabin somewhere on the property.
I found 2 coins today. A 1853 large cent and a 1853 half dime. I’ve only ever found 1 coin from 1800’s, an Indian cent.
It was a long day swinging between the corn stalks, but well worth it.
