Not a drawer pull

Any ideas about what this could be? Found two of them so far. Not a drawer pull, no place/area for the pull. Looks like pewter and the mounting studs are spaced the same as a switch wall plate or cover.

It's a drawer pull, here's one. It's just over 4.25" long, 2.25" tall, 3.75" centers (from the center of one hole to the center of the other). What's does your specimen measure? Probably made in different sizes as well.

All I can say is "you guys/gals are great". medicchief's picture is what I was looking for. I understand from looking at the picture, the item stands off so the fingers of the hand go behind the item. I was thinking a separate ring or something to pull on.

Thank you! I enjoy the "ID Finds" hunts as well! May be designed to just put a finger in the center and pull. I'm a novice compared to most people here though...lol.
