Almost Looks Like a Large Cent

Has anyone ever found anything similar to this? The front is in rough shape but the back almost looks like it says "ONE CENT" but inverted for some reason. There even appears to be a wreath around it. It's the size of a Liberty Cap cent but I can't make out anything along the edges. I found it last year in an area with multiple large cents but I could never find any information on it. Let me know what you all think.

Are the letter depressed or raised?

My guess is they are depressed which means this was 'cast' from a large cent.

Any idea as to what metal is is made from?
Lead would be a common low melting point metal that could be used.

The lettering is raised and it appears to be made of copper. It has the same toning that a lot of large cents I find do. I wouldn't be nearly as confused if the writing was depressed into the coin. I'm at a complete and total loss because it looks and feels just like a dug Liberty Cap.
