Over the past years I have been lucky enough to dig quite a few Horse Brasses and Rosettes.
From Colonial , Civil War, and House sites in Charleston SC, Fort Wingate New Mexico, and now here in my new home-state of Kentucky.
The glass covered one have so far eluded my coils efforts, but, living in the Bluegrass state has afforded me the opportunity to purchase some to add to my Wife and my collection.

My favorite, is the Confederate Cavalry Rosette, which sure did look like a lamp wick part in the pile of dirt after digging it...boy was I surprised!
