I just had a fantastic weekend of detecting.
The images pretty much sum it up.
Five of the silvers came from one day. This is the most I have ever dug in a single day.
The 1942 2 shilling coin is probably something I will never dig again.
I wonder how it ended up here in Ohio?
One of the Mercs appears to have been cut by something.
The large cent is dateless and appears to have been pierced with a square nail.
The two V nickels (1891 and 1911) came out of the same hole.
The other large cent is a 1902 Canadian penny.
The buffalo nickel is a 1918 and the Indian Head is a 1904.
The hunt also got me about 20 wheats, a cool pill/makeup box.
When I opened the little box I found what appeared to be some dried up flower petals.
I still have some relics to cleanup up but I wanted to share this stuff first.
